Welcome to Corner Farm Cottage!

Our modern cottage is located just south of the artsy, tourist village of Blyth, ON, home to North America’s largest destination brewery, Cowbell Brewing Company as well as the long-running Blyth Festival Theatre, featuring the new outdoor Harvest Stage. Our cottage offers the privacy & wide open spaces of a country stay with easy access to nearby attractions, such as the 125 km G2G rail trail, The Old Mill, Penny’s of Blyth, Cookie Rainbow, Pine Bistro, Wild Goose Studio Canada, the Wonky Frog, Maelstrom Winery, Benmiller Falls, and Bluestone Wake Park. The cottage is located 20 minutes from the shores of Lake Huron.
The space
Our place is on a main road about 4km south of Blyth, Ontario and you will have the entire space to yourself to unwind and relax without leaving or to use as a base to discover all that Blyth and Huron County has to offer! There is a fire pit, patio set, and gas barbeque to enjoy the outdoors (some firewood on site, but we recommend bringing your own kindling). Stroll the property and let the children burn some energy at the hockey nets. Take in the view of the surrounding farmland. Curl up next to the gas fireplace inside during the cool evenings. Rent a bike at Blyth Bike Shop and take advantage of the hiking, biking, and winter trail opportunities on the newly re-surfaced G2G Rail Trail. Take in a play at the Blyth theatre or book an art class at the Wild Goose Studio or pottery making at the Wonky Frog. Drive to the beach and spend the day on the shores of Lake Huron. Escape to the country and discover Ontario’s West Coast.
Other things to note
Children and families are welcome and encouraged. There is a lot of room to run and explore outdoors on the property, although we ask that you not enter the outbuildings or enter the farmland/fields. There is a concrete pad that is perfect for rollerblading or you could play hockey at our outdoor nets. We have a pack ‘n play available for you upon request. The cottage is laid out as a bungalow and there is a stairs to the unfinished basement that is not gated.
Please note that this is a rural agricultural setting and flies will be present seasonally outdoors. While these are not blackflies, we encourage you to keep the doors shut and screens on to keep the flies out of the cottage.
During your stay
We live just up the road from the property and are available if you need us. If you’d prefer not to be bothered, you won’t see us.
Occasionally, farm work occurs on the property and you may see harvest or planting equipment present.
